New Year candy, as a special candy product for Chinese New Year, is not only the embodiment of traditional Chinese culture, but also represents the aesthetic standards of Chinese consumers. In today's society, the flavor of the New Year is gradually fading, we hope to lead another wave of Chinese New Year through this New Year candy design.
The single-box design looks like a traditional blessing bag, on behalf of good wishes for the New Year, as a gift meaning good and loved by the public. What's more interesting is that when the two boxes are combined together, they appear to become a big candy, which directly represents the product properties of the candy, and generates a topic among consumers, which is highly contagious and does not need to be explained.
The appearance of our box is designed with 24 convex edges, which correspond to the 24 solar terms of the year in China, implying a rich harvest of five grains in the New Year. At the same time, the lid, in turn, can also be used as a tray to hold candy or other food, such as the shape of ancient Chinese art, but also to give the packaging more functional and practical.On the lid of the box, we also designed a silk scarf to make the use of the fruit bowl more ceremonial and elegant.
The illustration design revolves around the six-step process of ancient sugar making, depicting the whole process from picking sugarcane to packaging the finished product, which is a promotion of traditional sugar culture. Whether it is the red color scheme or the Chinese dragon elements interspersed between them, it creates the New Year atmosphere of the Chinese Year of the Dragon in 2024.
The box type of candy, the single box is like a blessing bag, and the combination is like candy. The combination of modeling beauty and function brings strong interactivity and interest. The shape of the lid is inspired by the Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain lotus high foot fruit plate, reflecting the ultimate Chinese aesthetic and sense of value.
