CUHK-Shenzhen School Of Medicine（BID Ⅱ）

This case is the North Campus section of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) School of Medicine project, which, together with South Campus, will become a first-class medical education and research campus that conforms to international advanced university campus design concepts and is oriented towards the future; Surrounding Shenxian Lake, the north and south campuses face each other across the lake, linking the campus public space with the urban open space, maximizing the activation of campus public vitality, and reshaping the urban spatial order of Shenxian Lake.



Following the natural background of Beiyuan, the intersection of axes, the concept of embracing lakes and mountains, and the vitality planning of Lingnan, the design principles of integrating with nature and creating a colorful ink environment are proposed. Using natural mountains and rivers as the background elements of the facade, the building volume, skyline, and together form a rich and balanced three-dimensional landscape painting; As a future oriented medical institution, it embodies the vitality of Hong Kong's Chinese cultural heritage and innovative campus through curved and flowing horizontal lines and bold color embellishments.
