In this case, we’re targeting clients who are either buying their first homes or have recently renovated their existing ones. Our main emphasis is on making living spaces practical and comfortable in terms of layout. We prioritize meeting the unique needs of residents when it comes to style, with a special focus on ensuring both comfort and aesthetic appeal in their home environment. Ultimately, our goal is to craft a space that serves as a “shared space for both purchasers and their families.”
When it comes to spatial distribution, we envisage a home for three generations of family members. With our flexible layout, our clients can cherish those special family moments while still having a certain level of privacy. The original layout consists of four bedrooms, two living rooms, and two bathrooms. But considering the need for unrestricted social interaction for a family of five, we redesigned the layout to include three bedrooms, plus one multifunctional room, two living areas, and two bathrooms.
Upon entering the foyer, one will find a convenient built-in storage area on the left for all the shoes, hats, and other small items of the family. The living room is transformed into a companion area and an area for cultivating interests, where the open space can easily switch between audiovisual mode, and parent-child gaming, and also serves as a handicraft display area, ensuring everyone has a spot to enjoy. The integration of the living room and dining area ensures that there’s room for everyone in the family to find their own space for activities.
In the master bedroom, we’ve adopted a “mini retreat” concept. It features a private bathroom and dressing area, creating the perfect space for different cozy activities. It combines audiovisual collections, beauty routines, office work, leisurely drinks, reading, childcare, and outfit selection, offering a soothing haven for oneself and one’s partner.
