Meticulous Turquoise Gem

As turquoise splashes hop into the eye, the veining waves spread all over the magnificent heavenly wall. The pure white Guanyin Bodhisattva statue exposes a serene statement through her solemn and dignified expression. The entryway delivers a calm and steady atmosphere of mind.

With the homeowner’s strong emphasis on nice cooking space, we re-configure the layout and plumbing system to plan an in-out kitchen with separated sinks. First, we tore down the inside one-wall cabinetry and rebuilt a U-patterned kitchen to set up an open and convenient prep space. Moreover, install aluminum-framed Moru glass sliding doors to preserve privacy and block cooking fumes. In addition, the quartz kitchen island incorporates an induction hob and a wine fridge, which serves as an easy breakfast bar and is handy for the hospitable homeowner to store glasses and utensils. The circular flow ideally contributes a spacious and comfortable domain for the residents and visitors.

The project accentuates the Guanyin Bodhisattva statue as the entryway focal point integrating the homeowner’s career-Buddhist ritual item manufacturing into the design. The Bodhisattva statue on a floating shelf against the turquoise marble backdrop quietly manifests the solemn Zen philosophy. Moreover, coherent timber and stone elements contribute a calm vibe as embraced with nature. The earth tones and low-saturated white, gray, and black palettes achieve a neat and cozy living space.

Allowing displaying and stowing the art collection, we created a large open cabinet for the homeowner. The storage layout also provides a sufficient repository for the five family members. In addition, wall tracks along both walls in the 1st-floor garage favorably show off the valuable paintings. Besides, a metal-framed glass display cabinet in the master bedroom serves for the lady's precious luxury handbag placement. The sleek touch integrates with fashionable items exquisitely featuring a boutique feel.
