The six signature spokes are interpreted from fingers and hands gently holding something precious, and idesigned to support head, shoulders, back and waist in a vertical line. Spokes, arms and the headrest are all carved individually from wood material with the traditional Japanese tools by the hands of craftsman.
Also, we were very particular about leather of the seat and filling for the cushions. For the back cushion, we used 100% high density feather for pliable support, and seats are made in two layers of urethan, preventing back pain from sinking in. We believe that our skills to mass produce this unique piece by hand, are a value no one could imitate.
