This design scheme is dedicated to the Cadillac Lyriq Retail Experience Centre, with "Luxury", "Future", and "Experience" as its design keywords. It aims to seamlessly integrate the Cadillac brand concept with diverse functionality, such as product display, interaction, and sociability, into the ingeniously designed space to deliver comprehensive services to visitors.
With inspiration from energy crystals, the design team transforms the original facade of the building. They utilize light-flowing crystal glazing to create an all-open curtain wall with multi-angle faceted surfaces on the building's facade, echoing the diamond-cut design ethos emblematic of the Cadillac logo. During the night, the facade presents a visual effect reminiscent of both the crystal clear diamonds and the colour-flowing energy crystals, evoking a futuristic and technological ambiance that aligns with the positioning of the Lyriq as a new energy vehicle.
Regarding the interior, the second-floor lobby features floor-to-ceiling windows, blurring the boundaries between the indoor and outdoor environments. Moreover, the interior incorporates local cultural elements and elaborately provides Shanghai-style cafe and light meals, blending humanistic feelings with the overall cutting-edge technological aesthetic to fully showcase the charm of regional culture.
In terms of functionality, the design integrates advanced technology elements such as intelligent interactive systems and immersive experience zones to effectively address traditional stores' lack of interest or inadequate product display. It offers customers an intuitive and comprehensive understanding of the vehicle's performance and characteristics, allowing them to experience the enjoyable driving of the Lyriq in a highly interactive manner. Meanwhile, the interior features various functional zones, including car display and consultation areas, with a flexible layout and smooth flow design that enables customers to navigate through each area to gain in-depth insights of the brand's cutting-edge automobile technology. Through a series of meticulous designs that mutually complement each other, this project perfectly satisfies the requirements of modern commercial sales and display.
