As one of China's leading food and beverage companies, Master Kong has discovered that the non-sugar tea market in China is worth $1 billion. Based on this insight, Master Kong has developed the innovative non-sugar tea product series "Descendants of the Tea," aimed at promoting the rich history, culture, and diversity of Chinese tea culture. The packaging designs are based around the follow three elements:



The preciousness of tea famers handwork - 11 versions of moulds were made to ensure the final mass production bottles provide the hand-made feeling along a shine that radiates the preciousness of a glass-like finish.



The sharing of the Chinese tea making knowledge between the generations - To express the authenticity of the tea-making craft, our design team took inspiration from the traditional "Woodblock Jia Ma Engraving" and tried more than 40 different materials and printing options.



Celebrating the source of origin - Both of these final versions were presented by the iconic hands holding the preciousness tea leafs, with illustrations of the poetic landscape of Hangzhou and Yunnan, both cultural and spiritual homes of tea making in China.
