Yan'an Museum Exhibition

Yan 'an is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization, where the Yellow Emperor tribe flourished and developed, creating the first chapter of Chinese civilization. In the long history, Yan 'an, with its "border county" and "five roads" special status, staged a magnificent historical drama. This exhibition hall displays the brilliant Yan'an, with yellow as the main color of the entire exhibition hall. It takes history as the main line, from the Paleolithic Age to the Republic of China period, Yan 'an's history and culture integration, showing the historical changes and cultural accumulation of Yan 'an from ancient times to the present. The means of multimedia and scene restoration allow the audience to more truly experience the unity of humanities and regional cultural symbols, and accurately express the contents of the exhibition through formal design language, so as to achieve the purpose of the exhibition and strengthen the artistic personality. With the change of history and culture, the display of this exhibition hall also changes in the color of the space and the use of materials. In this space, local landforms of the same period and contemporary display methods are combined to create an immersive atmosphere. Entering the space is like walking into a quiet art world. The simple, strong and vigorous picture language silently tells the grand narration of natural creation on the primitive and simple wall.

Light and shadow echo each other on the wall and ground, the simple and natural texture echoes with the artworks. The arc corridor space is full of dynamic and curved beauty, and the interplay of light & darkness form the visual contrast. Between the virtual and the real, it stimulates people's strong desire to explore the artworks. The project design uses simple and pure design techniques to shape the space emotions, abandon the complex and useless decorative structure, interprets the minimalist and pure space experience, and gives the space different emotional expression and sensational feelings. All elements such as texture, art works, light, and color together form the quality and spirit of the space----an introverted and quiet poetic art space.
