Master of the Arts

Indigenous culture holds a precious and unique place within Taiwan's diverse ethnic groups. Artifacts are the carriers of this culture. Consequently, the Pingtung County Government is dedicated to preserving and maintaining both tangible and intangible cultural heritage. Today, Pingtung County boasts the highest number of officially recognized cultural assets in the nation.



Each artifact serves as a witness to history, embodying the spiritual values of ethnic cultures through historical records, architecture, landscapes, objects, songs, and crafts. The masters of these arts are not only the inheritors and guardians of traditional skills but also the driving force behind the evolution and continuation of Pingtung's indigenous cultures. Their tireless efforts day and night document the developmental journey of their tribes.



This exhibition features seven traditional craft preservationists from Pingtung County, collaboratively creating a wordless cultural narrative.
