The project is located in the “Natural Oxygen Bar” in Changsha, adjacent to the Dawangshan Tourist Resort, with the Xiangjiang River to the east and the Yanghu Wetland Park to the north. Surrounded by mountains and water, it is rich in natural resources. The vision is for residents to experience the “vacation style natural life” right at home, integrating the vacation lifestyle of Singapore to create a unique holiday experience for Changsha.

Adopting an oriental minimalist approach, the project aims to create refined living spaces that capture the essence of life, shaping an ideal living environment. The park atmosphere serves as the foundation, emphasizing natural ecological design and offering a diverse participatory spatial experience for all ages, meeting the functional needs of different groups.

A homecoming axis is created with an array of seasonal foliage plants, ensuring scenic views throughout the year. The use of trees, shrubs, and grasses adds layers of richness, and the installation of art sculptures at the end of the axis enhances the sense of quality.

The project also features various functional areas within the park: sports fields for young people to promote vitality and health, quiet reading spaces for tranquility, and activity areas for the elderly, offering diverse activities such as chess and fitness. Elegant tables and chairs with sunshade flower boxes create functional and atmospheric community spaces, allowing residents to enjoy warm family moments.

The challenge is to create a forest vacation landscape within the narrow building spacing. The design uses a central landscape axis to connect diverse activities, pure natural water features, shared living areas, leisure spaces, community lounges, and wellness rings. Strolling through the project feels like being in an urban forest.
