The millennium-old ginkgo tree at the Guanyin Zen Temple in Mount Zhongnan, Xi'an, is revered locally as the "Tree of Life." It symbolizes the cultural roots of the ancient capital and embodies a continuous upward growth, revitalizing Xi'an's millennia-old lifestyle. In modern design, this project harmonizes the characteristics of Xi'an with historical cultural elements, innovating while embracing international development trends to create memorable and high-quality spaces.



The lobby reflects the "Tree of Life" theme, aiming to provide a vibrant and dynamic homecoming experience through the abstraction of tree elements in the design. Architectural features inspired by the grandeur of the ancient city walls and Tang Dynasty textures are reinterpreted with contemporary techniques, encapsulating the cultural essence of Chang'an. Custom ginkgo leaf patterns adorn public areas and outdoor spaces, echoing the ancient ginkgo trees in Xi'an, while bespoke door handles establish an emotional connection through their historical narratives.



Large floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, creating a cozy ambiance that transforms the environment into a living poem in harmony with nature. The spatial structure is thoughtfully layered, offering diverse perspectives and framed views. Textured ceilings and walls enhance the sense of line and depth, while meticulous attention to detail enriches the experience. A balanced color palette featuring textured art paints, natural stones, and liquid metals mimicking tree patterns is complemented by greenery and natural furnishings.



The clubhouse embodies the concept of a "city lounge," utilizing warm coffee tones to convey stability. The interplay of warm gray wood finishes and light lacquer creates a rhythm between classical and modern aesthetics. Bold metallic details, along with a mix of light browns and antique bronze, convey a strong sense of quality. The combination of luminous white jade and stylish black stone showcases a rich variation in materials. The space is designed to foster interaction and community, accommodating diverse functions for social gatherings, events, and communal activities.
