This flat-floor apartment with an internal area of 100 square meters is located in the suburbs of Beijing. The surrounding mountain scenery is unique and varied, full of eternal vitality. The original intention of the design is to use the unique spirit of the site to discover the spatial potential of the environment, so that the indoor and outdoor scenery can be perfectly integrated. Since the apartment is located on the top floor of the building, the design removed the boring gypsum board flat roof when the house was handed over, allowing the original building's pitched roof to be fully exposed, maximizing the advantage of the house's floor height; According to the owner's family size, the south-facing guest bedroom was removed and the living room was changed from a long hall to a wide hall, making full use of the south-facing mountain views and lighting conditions. Designer CHEN XUE hopes that the interior space consists eternal beauty, and abandon the boring "decoration packages" that are set up to follow the trend and have "characteristics of the times". He strives to express the beauty of the space itself through the exploration of materials and textures.
