WEI AND JIN DYNASTIES ANCIENT TOMBS SITE MUSEUM integrates the ancient tomb site display with activity space through the "concealed" underground entrance. The exterior of the building includes an iconic triangular prism located in the middle of the building and an inward-folding triangular roof, achieving a modern visual effect with simple lines. The triangular prism symbolizes the ancient "beacon tower" with guarding function, which protects the historical and cultural heritage of the Han-style tombs in the Qiuci area during the Jin Dynasty and the period of Sixteen Kingdoms, and reflects the cultural exchange and integration of Qiuci area with China's Central Plains region and the Hexi Corridor.

The entrance connects the underground exhibition space which integrates the protection and display of cultural relics, and achieves "static and dynamic" separation with plentiful glass walls. Besides, the combination of light and shadow highlights the solemn atmosphere of ancient tombs. The virtual reality technology is adopted to reproduce the historical site, ensuring a more immersive viewing. The combination of historical accumulation and modern technology allows visitors to have a more direct understanding of the cultural connotation of the Han-style tombs.

The underground leisure square connected to the entrance integrates with the open urban area, and the stepped seating area with LED light-emitting glass screens makes it a good place to take a break.
