Linjia Minnan Cuisine (Jimei Branch)

The design of this project is based on traditional foreign-influenced minnan culture, integrating its unique color schemes, material usage and line details with the contemporary Minnan lifestyle to create a refreshed classic Minnan aesthetic. The restaurant entrance cleverly utilizes the advantage of ceiling height, with the design inspired by landscape thinking. It employs a relaxed, natural language to present the cultural architecture of Xiamen, infusing the space with the core cultural spirit of Minnan, making it in tune with the spiritual demands of modern dining environments. The second floor’s layout offers an unparalleled visual experience of the cityscape, with sculpted rock features showcasing the distinctive Minnan character. Each area is equipped with 180° scenic balconies and large floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing natural light to seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor views, enhancing guest’ immersion in Minnan’s charm. Inside the private rooms, the style of the foreign-influenced minnan culture, with minimalist, fresh wooden furniture and nostalgic items creating a comfortable atmosphere. The designer strives to capture the beauty of fleeting moments in this vibrant space.
