Hsinchu City Children's Play and Art Festival

The “2024 Hsinchu City Children's Play and Art Festival" took place from April 4 to April 7, 2024, at Hsinchu Park. This event transformed the park into a “Bubble Wonderland.” Performances and activities included bubble shows, children's theater, street artist showcases, and technology experiences.



The design concept of this project was to cleverly integrate various activities to address the challenges posed by the uneven terrain of Hsinchu Park. Additionally, by incorporating facilities such as a zoo, gym, library, and Starbucks within the park, it aimed to create a comprehensive recreational area: the “Bubble Wonderland.”



This bubble wonderland featured nine major areas, bringing together over a hundred artists from around the world for more than 80 performances and nearly a hundred activities, along with multiple large inflatable and mechanical play structures.



The performances included the children's theater "Bubble Fantasy Stage," the dual-stage street performance "Rainbow Street Show," the tech art experience "Cosmic Technology Research Institute," and the "Rainbow Forest Story House."



Additionally, we facilitated the "Rainbow Art Experience Village" and "Rainbow Handmade Market," allowing children to unleash their artistic creativity. The event attracted over 300,000 attendees, and more than 5,200 online surveys indicated a satisfaction rate of over 93% across six categories.



This festival was held in Hsinchu City, located in northwestern Taiwan, known for its rich history and vibrant tech industry. Often referred to as the "Silicon Valley of Taiwan," it hosts numerous high-tech companies and research institutions, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing.



Due to the high income, strong economic development, and high birth rates in Hsinchu City, there is a significant need for high-quality activities for young children.



The 2024 Hsinchu City Children's Play and Art Festival was successful due to this unique combination of traditional and modern culture.
