This ring design is a symbolic representation of the gradual extinction of coral reefs, a direct result of pollution and the degradation of our oceans. At the center of the ring lies a pink morganite stone, weighing 25.5 carats, sourced from Brazil. It is chosen to represent coral in its most vibrant, healthy state—alive, full of color, and flourishing. Surrounding this central stone are white diamonds and peridots, representing the bleached, lifeless coral that has lost its color and vitality due to rising ocean temperatures and pollution.

Crafted entirely by hand, this ring is made from 18-karat (750) gold, further elevating its status as a luxurious yet meaningful piece. The design takes inspiration from the dramatic contrast between living coral and its vibrant hues, and bleached coral, which turns ghostly white as it dies. As coral reefs transition from pink and colorful to stark white, this ring captures that transformation, reflecting the environmental crisis unfolding in the marine world. The pink morganite symbolizes not only the beauty of coral but also its fragility and the precarious state of marine ecosystems. The diamonds and peridots, in their purity, serve as a reminder of the coral's fate if we do not take action.

Ultimately, this project is a statement of responsibility. It is not just a piece of art or fashion, but a commitment to environmental awareness and the preservation of nature's beauty. The ring's design emphasizes the need for conscious efforts to restore and protect the fragile life forms in our oceans, urging us all to take action.
