Tower Residence 03

Renovation project of a high-rise residence in Tokyo.
The view of the expansive sky and sea, the contemporary landscape consisting of standing high-rise buildings, and the combination of these different natures change its face completely differently during the day and at night.
The high-rise design of the building allows residents to feel the blue sky and sea during the day, while at night they can enjoy the beautiful night view of the illuminated buildings.
We designed the space to be refreshing during the day with natural light, while at night it could be a luxurious space where the intensity of the materials is highlighted by the narrowing of the light.
For these two spaces to coexist, we considered that the color of the materials is particularly important, as colors that are too light can be refreshing but lack luxury, while materials that are too dark can lack freshness.
The kitchen, dining table and low table were designed specifically for this space, and these elements further enhance the sense of unity of the space.
