This project is located on the axis of the Bund's International Architecture Complex, with the aura of the Renaissance entwined like classical patterns, encompassing the world of old Shanghai's Art Deco glamour and dissipation.
This case adopts symmetry representing mechanical aesthetics, with continuous and repeated right angles, broken line patterns, and other geometric shapes. The ground is fitted with solid wood flooring combined with built-in light strip metal baseboards throughout the space. The clever matching of black and white ceramic tiles in small - area applications for decoration reflects the dramaturgical spatial rhythm. The black and white ceramic tiles are used in a small area for decoration in a clever way, showing a dramatic spatial rhythm.
Bright and high - contrast colors are the longing for the future and also the essence of the Art Deco style. The green of leather and the gilded copper pendants inlaid with colored glaze are like swaying tangos. They have a strong decorative intention and also burst with vitality. The addition of metallic colors brings an elegant and luxurious atmosphere.
The wall is decorated with exotic hard wood veneers and travertine, combined with modern organic materials, lightweight ceramic stone skins and inlaid art paints, highlighting the texture and luster of performance materials such as metal and glass.
The use of the MAH JONG sofa revolutionizes the stereotypical image of sofas in people's minds. Instead of following the conventional norms, it features various modular designs such as cushions, backrests, and mechanical backrests, allowing people to freely "combine, arrange side by side, and stack" them to create their favorite configurations. This novel design and unique concept bring a distinct sense of casual freedom into the home space. Beyond the residents' own aesthetic arrangements and combinations, it seems to transform into an artistic dreamweaver, integrating the classical symmetry of Art Deco with modern simplicity, symbolizing both the distant past and the far - flung future.
