The design should aim not only to meet the functional needs of daily life but also to create an aesthetic domain that corresponds to the client’s personality preferences. The living room, located on the first floor, serves as the core public area of the family. The interior design employs a mix of techniques: a cream-colored linen L-shaped sofa, a solid wood coffee table with a forked design, and a painting featuring ink wash landscapes. Together, these elements create an interesting collision of materials, colors, and aesthetics. The tea room in the garden is like a hidden, fairy-tale space. As you enter, a tranquil aesthetic world gradually unfolds. The construction of space requires inspiration and aesthetics as starting points, but the fundamental motivation must stem from the practical aspects of life and usage. In this context, the kitchen and dining area have once again become the focal point for family interaction. Whether it’s brewing morning coffee or toasting bread, family conversations during meals, gatherings with friends and relatives, or even the female homeowner’s occasional flower arrangement workspace—this space embodies family life. The open-plan kitchen and dining area features a central round wooden dining table, accompanied by comfortable white and green linen dining chairs. This setting provides a pleasant dining atmosphere, integrating the warmth of daily family life. The subtle traces of everyday living suggest a content and leisurely family routine. Life can be understood as a collection of independent scenes. The second basement level is designed as a family social area, with a double-sided sofa at the center, connecting the rest of the space. At the far end, an entire wall is embedded with a display bookshelf, and an oversized tea table serves as both the center for family interaction and a social venue. The flexible and free layout enhances the space’s “wandering” feel. Life is like tea; one can calmly observe the ups and downs of the world and find peace within it. In this small corner, the essence of simplicity is fully displayed.
