"Collective Intimidation" is an earring piece created in Beijing in 2024. Through this earring, the designer tells a true story that occurred around the ears, expressing a profound reflection on the unconscious malice and indifference in group behavior. The work uses gentle curves and flower shapes to represent "screaming, anger and helplessness", showcasing the protagonist's struggle and pain under group pressure.



Through the ingenious combination of materials, forms and colors, the designer reveals the hidden sharpness and harm in group behavior. The covert rose gold color symbolizes the unconscious behavior of the followers, while the white gold accents represent the protagonist's cry and feelings. The mirror design magnifies the "ugly face" infinitely, suggesting the oppression and harm of group behavior on the individual. The three red zirconia stones embedded symbolize the "lesson of blood", directly and vividly expressing the pain and harm brought by the event, and also symbolizing warning and reflection.



Under the gentle appearance of curves and flowers lies the bullying and disregard towards the minority. The design of the flower center symbolizes the core of the event and the powerlessness of the individual. This work is not only a reflection on personal experience but also a profound exploration of human nature and humanity. The designer uses earrings as a medium to call on people to pay attention to the situation of the minority, reflect on the unconscious harm in group behavior, and advocate for more empathy and care.



"Collective Intimidation" is not only a beautiful piece of jewelry, but also an artwork full of social significance. It reveals the influence of group behavior on individuals from a unique perspective, demonstrating the designer's understanding of the world and reflection on human nature. Through an artistic form, the work prompts the audience to re-examine the relationship between the group and the individual, reminding people to avoid unconscious indifference and harm in daily life, and conveys profound humanistic care and social value. In addition, all the carvings, metals and gemstones in the work can be disassembled and recycled for reuse, achieving social value in a recyclable and regenerative manner.
