Situated in the heart of JiuYan Bridge Business District along Chengdu’s First Ring Road, facing Jinjiang River to the north, this urban renewal initiative reconstructs the waterfront skyline through adaptive reuse of a 14,558㎡ site with 69,648㎡ of renovated buildings. Guided by the philosophy of "Indigenous Growth", it blends traditional Western Sichuan courtyard textures with futuristic architectural forms to create the "Nine-Eyed Bazaar · Tianfu Mirage" — a multi-dimensional interactive cultural-tourism complex. Positioned as the "Ultimate Tianfu" immersive destination, it leverages Jinjiang River’s nocturnal circulation to craft a civic cultural salon, digitally reimagining 3,000 years of Shu civilization through light-and-shadow technologies to achieve temporal-spatial cultural awakening.
Spatial Strategy
• Vertical Urban Fabric: Maintains the wisdom of "Alley-Courtyard Symbiosis" by weaving consumption scenarios through three-dimensional streets and lanes, reinstating urban vitality vertically.
• Architectural Evolution: Adopts a "Genetic Continuation" approach, forming cascading terraces along the riverfront that echo historical waterfront settlements.
• Narrative Design: Draws inspiration from Map of Scenic Splendors of Shu Chuan, deconstructing cultural symbols like ancient city gates and sail-suspension bridges into modern spatial expressions.
Technical Integration
• Climate-Responsive Design: Implements smart curtain walls with dynamic solar shading and natural ventilation systems.
• Energy Innovation: Integrates zero-carbon energy systems including rooftop solar arrays and river-source heat pumps.
• Sustainability Features: Achieves 30% energy savings through passive design strategies.
Programmatic Innovation
Pioneering a "cultural metaverse" model, the complex hosts six themed zones:
1.Poetry & Wine Guochao (National Tide) Experience;2.Digital Performing Arts Arena;3.Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshops;4.Light-and-Water Spectacular;5.Riverside Performance Plaza;6. 24-Hour Cultural Incubator
This creates a full-spectrum cultural-tourism ecosystem that preserves urban memory while activating modern vitality, establishing JiuYan Bridge as a symbiotic hub for culture, commerce, and leisure.
