Tianmairan Noodles Packaging Design

Founded in 1989, Wudeli Group, a National Key Agricultural Industrialization Leading Enterprise, has partnered with Mind & More Brand Consulting Firm to strategically upgrade the packaging design for its Tianmairan series of dried noodles. Grounded in the millennia-old culinary heritage of Longxu Noodles (Dragon Beard Noodles) and Yudai Noodles (Jade Belt Noodles), the design team delved into their historical origins and cultural narratives, innovatively blending Chinese line-drawing techniques with the artistic language of Western copperplate engraving. This fusion established a dual core visual system that harmonizes Eastern philosophical depth with modern visual dynamism.
For the core product line, designers distilled the essence of noodle forms through streamlined linear aesthetics, bridging the historical legacy of Longxu and Yudai Noodles with contemporary consumer preferences. The result is Tianmairan’s iconic brand symbol, embodying safety, craftsmanship, and premium quality.
The gift box series adopts eco-friendly pulp materials, enhanced by embossed textures and modular structural design, elevating its appeal as a luxury gift while advancing green sustainability strategies. Through cultural DNA decoding and innovative design, this packaging overhaul transforms into a cultural vehicle that communicates brand values, perpetuating the modern aesthetic expression of China’s noodle heritage.
