About The Entry

Art stands as a major element of this project. Throughout the process of the project, we wished our residents can live in an artsy environment. At the entry, an sculpture, Taxidermy of Mental Imagery, by a Taiwanese artist Yan-Yu Lu was placed at the non-opened area which is made to capture the scenery of the forest.

We've decided to use an arched wall to separate the kitchen and the bar. The lighting of the arched wall brings a distinct emotion to the area.

The connected steel piece on the wall and the ceiling are just like the grassland and blue sky. The complex steel piece tells the hard-working of the artisans.

The tone of the rooms was chosen to have low saturated colors. Adding on with the placement of the lighting and the combination of the material and the lighting, we wished to let the residents fully relax when they return home.
