Dwelling in Peace

This project involves an exciting renovation plan for an old house, with the primary goal of reorganizing the layout and functional areas to better accommodate the living preferences of a father and his daughter. To begin with, our approach entails removing unnecessary partitions, which will not only create a more open and elongated floor plan, but also significantly enhance the flow of space. As a result, this transformation will promote greater comfort and convenience in their daily lives.

Moreover, the interior design will feature a carefully curated earth-tone color palette, which will be beautifully complemented by subtle brick-red accents. This harmonious combination is intended to foster a warm, inviting atmosphere that is both lively and sophisticated. Ultimately, the renovation aims to create a nurturing home environment that reflects the personality and needs of its inhabitants. 

To create a more expansive feel in the public space, the design team strategically rotated the living room by 90 degrees. This thoughtful orientation not only allows for large sofas and coffee tables to be comfortably positioned by the windows but also creates generous passageways flanking the impressive 3.2-meter-wide TV wall. The TV wall itself is a striking feature, adorned with a rich brick-red, lattice-patterned surface crafted from bendable panels. Each groove is meticulously fashioned through precise sewing techniques, showcasing a commitment to intricate craftsmanship. In addition to these visual elements, half-height walls and softly rounded curves enhance the openness of the living area, promoting a seamless flow throughout the space. Moreover, the kitchen is thoughtfully situated on one side of the corridor, effectively expanding the dining area and enriching the overall functionality of the home.

In the bathroom, the design embraces a primarily beige color scheme, harmonizing with the main palette of the home. To ensure visual consistency, elegant white fixtures have been selected, continuing the refined aesthetic throughout. Addressing the height difference between the bathroom and the adjacent secondary bedroom was a crucial consideration for the team.
