Most cities we live in today are congested, frustrating experiences. This is the opportunity we had with this space. Not just to create an excellent restaurant experience but also to create a public space for people to relax and have a good time. We did this with Tan Zuo Mali by using a variety of materials in a sustainable manner. The emphasis on function in every aspect of the restaurant resonates as you walk in and when you leave.
