This Project is located approximately 30 miles northeast of Guangzhou, with a total site area of 258,500 square meters (approximately 2.8 million square feet). This is a two-phase development: Phase I includes a 1,000-bed general hospital, while Phase II introduces a 500-bed specialty hospital and a series of residential towers for long-term care and rehabilitation of patients and the elderly. As part of a 127,265-square - meter mixed-use development in Conghua - an emerging satellite district of Guangzhou - the campus integrates medical treatment, scientific research, preventive healthcare, and rehabilitative living into one cohesive, human-centered ecosystem. The 1,500-bed layout unfolds along a clear south–north axis, establishing a linear progression of care and community. The Conghua Medical Campus is not merely a medical center - it is a “rational canvas” woven from geometry and greenery. It responds to the complex needs of modern healthcare, multifunctionality, adaptability, and sustainability, while creating a living framework where nature and humanity can grow side by side. Here, order and flexibility coexist, shaping a hopeful, health-driven environment for generations to come. This is more than just a medical campus; it is a “rational canvas” woven from pixels and nature. It embodies not only an organizational logic for architectural space but also serves as an open vessel where humanity and innovation converge. Here, order meets flexibility, and nature blends seamlessly with the built environment to create an ecosystem that supports health, healing, and ongoing growth. The design responds to the complex demands of modern healthcare - multifunctionality, scalability, and sustainability - setting a new paradigm for future medical environments. At the same time, it fosters a vibrant, welcoming, and hopeful community for patients, caregivers, and residents alike.
