Chanson Corner

Chanson Corner is a residential interior design project that blends modern minimalism with French vintage charm to create a warm, elegant, and emotionally resonant living space. Inspired by the soft melody of a French chanson, the design aims to deliver a poetic lifestyle experience through harmony in space, material, and light.
The layout adopts an open and flowing spatial organization, removing unnecessary partitions to enhance connectivity and communication between areas. This seamless integration of public zones fosters both visual transparency and spatial interaction.
A palette of low-saturation neutral tones—cream, beige, and wood—forms the foundation of the color scheme, evoking a calming, cozy atmosphere. Accents of black add contrast and depth, elevating the overall sophistication of the space.
Material selection is rooted in nature and tactility. Rich wood grains are used extensively on floors and cabinetry, offering warmth and organic texture. Marble surfaces and transparent acrylic details balance the visual weight, injecting a sense of lightness and refinement.
The soft furnishings emphasize the balance of textures and styles. In the living room, a plush white round stool contrasts a sleek black oval coffee table, creating a visual rhythm of softness and strength.
