XIANGJIANG JINMAO PALACE

The project is located on the east bank of the Xiangjiang River in Changsha, Hunan Province, facing Orange Isle across the Xiangjiang River. Drawing inspiration from the scenery of the Xiangjiang River depicted in Mao Zedong's Qinyuanchun·Changsha, the design extracts the forms of mountains and waters as well as the realm of nature, integrating contemporary design language and Oriental aesthetics. Through delicate material textures, concise spatial language, and the embedding and interspersing of natural spaces, it creates an immersive landscape experience from multiple dimensions—sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. It aims to build a three-dimensional garden that integrates nature, art, and life, realizing a symbiotic dialogue between humans and nature.
Cross-disciplinary collaboration across multiple fields, along with integrated design of architecture, landscape, and interior spaces, enhances spatial fluidity. It realizes a boundless landscape expression within a bounded space, maximizes the effective use of space and achieves optimal artistic effects, thereby improving users' quality of life and artistic taste.
