Perforated Metal Spinning Lamp

We created a lamp using metal spinning.
Metal spinning is a processing technique that uses a special machine to transform a sheet of metal into a three-dimensional shape. We applied this metal Spinning technology to the design of lighting fixtures that are familiar to us.
Normally, metal plates are used, but the highly skilled craftsmen add a spinning process to perforated metal plates. The spinning process stretches the perforated metal, changing the regular perforation pattern to create special patterns. Furthermore, the light that leaks out from the special pattern creates beautiful patterns of light and shadow.
Perforated metal spinning lamp is made by using the spinning process on a variety of perforated metals to create unique patterns. The pattern changes depending on the angle at which the perforated metal plate is bent using the spinning process. If you bend it shallowly, the change in the hole will be small, and if you bend it deeply, the change in the hole will be large. By transforming existing perforated metal or original perforated metal through the spinning process, a variety of patterns can be created and the possibilities of this design are endless.
The spinning process transforms the perforated metal plate into a hemisphere, creating a 3 dimensional special pattern. The pattern changes around the dome, so different patterns emerge depending on the viewing angle.
The light that leaks out from the special pattern creates beautiful patterns of light and shadow. Each pattern is projected onto the surrounding floor, walls, and ceiling. In addition, by adjusting the transmittance of the holes and designing it so that the light from the light source is not too strong, the patterns of light and shadow emerge beautifully.
