CADEFUN Yunlu, Wuhan

The project is located in Qiaokou District, Wuhan, adjacent to the Hanjiang River. Surrounded by abundant natural resources, supported by comprehensive facilities, and connected through convenient transportation, the site offers an exceptional foundation for development.
Drawing inspiration from the site’s unique character, the design integrates the area’s rich artistic ambience into its concept. Featuring level, linear circulation paths and an ingeniously arranged spatial layout, the plan visually softens the rigidity of elevated façades. Gentle breezes flow freely through the space, guiding visitors into a pure, artistically inspired forest-style residence — a place where one can return to inner peace and beauty.
In exploring how to create a work of art, we inevitably reflect on timeless masterpieces such as the Museum of Islamic Art by I. M. Pei. Its perfect fusion of enduring grandeur and dignified elegance demonstrates the ideal balance of geometric aesthetics, resonating deeply with the human spirit.
Guided by such inspiration, our pursuit is not lavish tones or ornate lines, but a vision that is clean, pure, and free from obvious stylistic conventions — an artistic quality in itself. Through an aesthetic expression rooted in ultimate geometric simplicity and understated profundity, we aim to create a gallery-like residence where life becomes an immersive experience of art, and purity evolves into a way of living.
