In Xiamen, a maritime garden city with a century-old history of opening up as a port and profound Minnan cultural heritage, AUDG extracted the design motif of "leading the tide" from the rich cultural tides of the egret Island, outlining a cultural flow line that looks inward and outward for the project on the humanistic origin of the city's memory, and integrating the modled historical imprints into the meticulous practice of contemporary life aesthetics.
