Wuxi Surui Beauty Medical presents a new take in aesthetic healthcare, merging cultural heritage, contemporary design, and immersive experiential spaces. Overlooking Wuxi’s central business district, the clinic functions as a lakeside sanctuary, offering visitors a harmonious blend of wellness, art, and private hospitality.
The design draws inspiration from the poetic imagery of Lake Taihu, interpreting Su Shi’s verses of shimmering waves, Ni Zan’s ethereal Fishing Village in Autumn, and the natural charm of “Taihu’s finest views.” This concept of “bringing the lake indoors and transforming poetry into space” shapes a tranquil environment where visitors can restore body and mind.
The entrance sequence evokes Taihu at dawn. Tea-colored glass, high-gloss lacquer, and hand-crafted tung-oil lamps simulate the changing light of sunrise, while concealed lighting inside screens and ceilings produces a soft misty ambiance. In the lobby, green Prada marble, Rosso Levanto stone, and terrazzo floors combine with dynamic digital panels that project seasonal lake scenes, extending reflections onto a luminous feature wall, conjuring Su Shi’s imagery of “water meeting the heavens.” Wooden lattice walls reinterpret Wu Kingdom armor, transforming historical motifs of protection into symbols of healing, integrating Eastern philosophy of balance into the medical environment.
The mirrored gallery embodies both technology and poetry. Silver-glass matrices overlap with visitor reflections, merging individuals with the timeless waves of Taihu. Laser-engraved typography in BEAUTYOUNG employs Song Dynasty movable-type logic, with spacing following Fibonacci proportions, producing “submerged lettering” effects across mirrored black-gold floors and glass surfaces, elevating the space into an immersive artistic experience.
Corridors function as metaphorical narratives. A commissioned artwork titled “Abundance” reflects sky and earth, mirrored across the floor to create an “infinite forest” illusion. Light, texture, and movement become therapeutic instruments, guiding visitors through an experiential journey of restoration. The Young Club, accessed via the foyer, balances order, material warmth, and brand identity, instilling calm, exclusivity, and comfort.
