Chanba Ecological Area Eurasia 4th Road Residential Project

Located on the banks of the Ba River in the historic city of Xi'an, this project boasts scarce ecological resources. As a landmark residential development, its design transcends tradition, striving to transform the profound aesthetics of Eastern landscapes and regional culture into a contemporary living experience. The project's demonstration area encompasses both public street parks and residential areas, aiming to create a comprehensive community that both serves residents and revitalizes the urban landscape.
The design innovatively constructs a dual narrative dimension. Externally, the 13,000-square-meter street park integrates modern sports into urban public life, featuring an art landmark inspired by the city flower, the pomegranate, as well as themed spaces such as a bicycle pump track and a blue and white porcelain skate park, all created by professional operators. The commercial street and lawn theater together form the vibrant core of the community. Internally, the "Homeward Bound" axis presents an immersive journey through Eastern landscape art. Within the limited 1,000-square-meter site with a 4-meter height difference, the design leverages disadvantages to create a three-dimensional courtyard with a flowing waterfall and stream. A "floating living room" perched on a commanding height offers panoramic views, while a tranquil space beneath ancient trees serves as a spiritual haven for the community, embodying a resonance between nature, art, and life.
This project, guided by the design philosophy of "dialogue between the past and the present," is not a simple reproduction of tradition, but an abstract translation and modern expression of regional culture. It successfully weaves together public vitality, homecoming rituals, and community spirit, ultimately creating a landscape space that combines humanistic meaning with contemporary texture, truly embracing the future.
