Nanjing Zhongjian Ningyue Fu

This project is deeply rooted in the millennia-old cultural heritage of Jinling, drawing inspiration from the artistic essence of the "Jinling Scenic Scroll" to reinterpret the site’s DNA through a contemporary lens. The design takes cues from this timeless handscroll, integrating Jinling’s distinctive poetic motifs—mountain hues, water rhythms, cloud-kissed towers, stone creeks, pavilions, layered woods, and grassy meadows—into the construction philosophy of China State Construction Urban Development’s top-tier product series.
Using modern design language, the project reinterprets the spatial narrative and unfolds the profound stories embedded within the scroll, blending enduring cultural heritage with future living experiences. An oversized entrance gate and an iconic luxurious stone art waterscape sculpture create a ceremonial homecoming sequence. Within the courtyard spaces, traditional Jiangnan imagery is reimagined with a modern touch—small bridges, flowing water—all harmoniously integrated into a realm of tranquility.
