Located along Mount Road in Jaipur, this 6.4 km corridor transforms neglected land between the Aravalli Hills and nearby slums into a living ecological system. Faced with severe water shortages and waste pollution, the project creates a self-cycling network that collects stormwater and sewage, purifies it through natural systems, and reuses the clean water for irrigation and daily needs.
The corridor follows five steps—capture, store, filter, reuse, and activate—turning open spaces into rain gardens, wetlands, and community parks. It adds bike lanes, public toilets, and waste bins, improving both infrastructure and daily life for over 100,000 residents.
Different sections of the corridor combine ecology and community: water gardens near the hills, urban farms by canals, and shaded markets beside tourist sites. Together, they form 60 hectares of green space that connects people with clean water, food, and nature.
More than an environmental project, the corridor reimagines how cities like Jaipur can grow sustainably—linking ecological restoration with social and economic vitality.
