This is a unique combination of the unsymmetrical red-colored Chinese knot and the black-butterfly bow tie. The FAITH reminds us perseverance and keeping the faith.



The Chinese knot is one that is tied and woven from a single cord or rope that morphs into a variety of shapes and of varying complexity.



The symbolic meaning of the color red is associated with blessings and good wishes that is traditionally found in Eastern folk decoration in handicraft art.



In comparison with the soft texture of the Chinese knot, the Western bow tie is made of metal through metalworking and stone setting. Its hard texture represents the hardships in daily life with the darker color, an expression of sorrow from obstacles and loss.



This exemplifies the embrace of all of life, resisting pain. Every cloud has a silver lining. After rain there is always a rainbow, after a storm there is calm, after night there is morning, and after an end there is a new beginning. We can live through anything as long as we keep the faith.
