Memory of Light

As a high-speed network computing center, this design is equipped with high technology and high intelligence. It is the central headquarters of Taiwan's supercomputers. It could be used for display, office, negotiation, and AI artificial intelligence to meet the needs of users with unmanned interaction.



The designer integrates scientific and technological concepts, with the extension of light lines and the restructuring of memories as the core, make the design more meaningful. The tires above the ceiling are decorated with waste tires; the tires symbolize high-speed and correspond to the rapid transmission of light. They are equipped with Taiwan patented circular metal sound-absorbing panels, which are like memory CD-disks. The LED strip lighting is like a network cable, a signal transmission, so as a continuous memory.



Considering the fatigue arising from the high-speed work rhythm of the technology industry, rest area is separated by the independent paving area of green turf, with childlike-fun space and green style as the main axis of the rest center, with movable sofas, temporary seats and large glass whiteboards. It can be adjusted and reorganized arbitrarily in response to the needs of the situation, and it has multi-functional functions for meetings and brainstorming. It is more intimately designed for sports and entertainment spaces. The horizontal bar, swing, and climbing wall respectively have the image effect of data transmission belt, frequency, and upward climbing. Let the users to take a break and rest.



In addition, the designer set up barrier-free ramps that comply with Taiwan's certificate of administrative regulations on decoration of buildings, and the materials used in the space comply with the environmental protection and green building materials label certification. Choose good building materials to reduce the persecution of nature and make people and the environment coexist in a better way.
