The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle once said, “All art and religion are the natural appendages.” The owner’s keenness for stone materials is delivered within this design. Seven or eight materials can be seen in the public area, and with the designer’s flexible usage of color uniting, natural landscape scenes can be found alternating between each room. Many French windows are installed within the residence; they draw natural lightings indoors while eco-friendly LED light pulps are applied on other lightings to decrease carbon emission. In addition, the luster of metals helps light sources to reflex; therefore, all indoor lights can stay bright without opening all electricity in the house. All rooms are equipped with external windows to maintain airflow; when the weather is nice, air-conditionings are also needless. This house owner of this case is fond of comfortable and refined residences. Three generations live within the space, and the planning started from the roughcast stage. From the public space that greets guests, the smooth traffic flow of the kitchen and the dining room, and the clear separation between private and public areas, the designer applied a massive amount of natural stone materials to create staggering visual effects and delivered a sense of nature and delicate. The people-oriented concept can be seen in the balance between areas and the cleaver details of lights and shadows.
