Feng Qi Wu Tong is located near the edge of a lake in Suzhou, a famous ancient garden city in China. The designer integrates the Suzhou architectural style with that of the Tang Dynasty and, coupled with the modern design context and construction techniques, builds a high-quality residential quarter that complies with the interests and needs of modern residents. The landscape as a whole employs the form of one axis and triple courtyards, symmetrical along the central axis, creating a sense of ceremony with the Confucian ritual order for the external paradigm, while keeping to the artistic beauty for the internal patterns. It is characterized by piled-up earth mounds and waters, flowers and trees, and gallery bridges, bringing in dazzling scenes in a simple and elegant way.
