Nestor, a healthy food brand, was born on the Pacific coast of America in 2012. In collaboration with BOMB STUDIO, we designed the packaging series and reinterpreted the brand image. Its dried fruit and ingredients of nuts come from premium farms all over the world. We select fresh food materials and provide quality healthy food.

In order to stand out in the market of packaging and appeal to young consumers, we committed a lot to the packaging design for building a bridge between the packaging and consumers, and more importantly, exploring a distinctive style. Therefore, the IP image “Mr. Nut” came into being. The daily scenarios are applied to evoke consumers’ emotional empathy, which reflect office workers’ daily entertainment of self-mockery for overtime work. The illustrations on the packaging about associations of nuts help guide consumers to concentrate more on healthy life.

The illustrations are integrated with the American comic style and pop art to show the entire week of Mr. Nut to consumers: an energetic start on Monday, a napping companion&farewell to drowsiness on Tuesday, inspiration for quickening the working pace on Wednesday, super power for overtime work on Thursday, delight for holiday countdown on Friday, a gathering&sharing on Saturday and a healthy companion for watching TV series to free yourself from sorrow on Sunday. Only to unwrap the packaging, the quality nuts and dried fruit are readily available and refresh consumers’ taste buds. The real pictures of nuts are at the 2D visual center to evoke infinite associations about delicious food and form unique visual effects.

There are four arch structures set on the outer box. Users can open the arch for greeting a new week after finishing one-week nuts. Due to the design, users embrace a sense of ritual and recall childhood delights apart from the monotonous working loop.
