A residence is designed to resemble a cabin on a yacht, creating a recreational indoor space that transforms home into an endless overseas vacation.Blue and white light belts as the ceiling design bring out glistening waves of the sea. These light belts provide indirect lighting, echoing the hazy beauty of daylight on the sea. This single-family three-story house with a yacht design concept utilizes the split-level technique to distinguish between the cabin and the deck. Building materials including the hanging wires, fences, and glass curtains create a boundless perspective.The living room and the dining room areas are situated on the first floor.On the second floor, there is the study room and the family room. In the study room, horizontal ceiling light belts represent the ocean's horizon, with gentle waves bringing out an ambience of focus and tranquility. The glass curtain wall with a black iron frame creates a penetrating view.The space uses an unconventional story-based design technique to give an exquisite appearance of a yacht, allowing residents to wander in a comfortable vacation mode during life's activities. Every area uses a different style to correspond to metaphors in different corners of the yacht. With this design concept, the exclusive luxury of a yacht now extends to an ideal living space.
