Lane View Chateau

The project is located on the north bank of the Pearl River Back Channel in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, at the core of Haizhu Innovation Bay. In the front, the Pearl River converges with many waterways to form a magnificent river surface, and in the back, there is the grand city skyline of Guangzhou as the background. Therefore, the entire project implements the understanding of "urban characteristics" and "environmental characteristics", adding a new urban gathering place and experience place full of natural emotions to the Pearl River. The project covers an area of 2,880 square meters, with three floors and two partial floors. The whole building is divided into two. Combining the plane function, the west is high and the east is low, and they are connected at the top to form a large gray space under the "deck". The main façade along the river is made of crystal gray strips of frosted colored glazed glass to respond to the shape of the river water, while avoiding the mutual interference between indoor and outdoor, making the facade more complete and indoor display activities more pure. Based on this, the entire design discards the cumbersome construction traces and conforms to the characteristics of "site" and "natural", giving the building a greater aura and a more powerful response to the environment. Through the minimalist design language, the designer's understanding of the city and life is more strongly rooted on the banks of the Pearl River, directly hitting the hearts of the experiencers.
