For the 2020 Super Bowl in Miami, Verizon sponsored a pop-up dome to advertise its 5G network expansion. On the exterior, the goal was to create an elegant outpost with a unique form that could be seen for miles. The most significant and crowd-drawing visual element was the dome's illumination in a saturated and bright red to strengthen the Verizon brand and the enthralling glow gave it a futuristic feel. Design One also provided functional and thematic lighting around the dome including linear accent lights and interactive displays on Verizon products and Super Bowl broadcast history. Once inside, lighting in the form of a zoetrope guided visitors through a passageway to the main viewing area under the dome.
