This launch is part of an overall Design Strategy developed by the Agency, accompanying the brand development imagined by Hope Smith, the Brand Founder. Following the success of the Body Butter and Body Oil launch, cult-favorite body-care line MUTHA began its pivot to facial skincare in July 2020 with the launch of the face oil. Hope Smith and her team commissioned us to help them build a unique and thought-provoking design strategy for the brand's future product categories. The first launch, No.1 Face Serum, and the Up All Night Eye cream taped into MUTHA's strong existing design territory and marked the beginning of the brand's development into facial skincare. MUTHA™ CREAM + CREAM EXTREME DUO, a cream for AM protection, and Cream Extreme for PM repair are the latest additions to the growing MUTHA skincare range and come as the ultimate luxury experience to keep your skin at its best from day to night. The Agency and the MUTHA team work together on all aspects of the design development of the set. The Duo Set design, featuring high-end finishes and sophisticated shapes, brings the packaging to the status of authentic objects, providing consumers with a truly desirable, around-the-clock luxury skincare experience. We created this Duo Set to become an integral part of a women's daily rituals: it will not go in your drawer or your cabinet but sit next to your favorite beauty accessories. The Duo Set comes as a keeper set, presented in a tray, and accompanied by a sculptural applicator that will be used to delicately scoop the cream, providing a superior experience and avoiding potential pollution of the cream remaining in the jar. The branding is bold and powerful, and the color system reflects the necessary differentiation between the Day Cream and the Night Cream.
