Located in the core area of a riverside CBD and beside an urban park, this project is the demonstration area and also sales center of The Metropolis. To better showcase the positioning of the residential development to potential property buyers, the project tells the story of "nine fishes" in a Wabi-sabi space.

The ceiling of the reception foyer is a visual highlight, which takes design cues from traditional Chinese sloped roofs. Together with the lighting, it sets the emotional tone of the spatial narratives.

The art installation named "Race to the top" under the water waves-featured ceiling of the property models area is a metaphor of nine fishes striving to enter the upper reach of the Yangtze River. The "water waves" in the property models area reaches to the conversation area and pours down on the backdrop wall of the water bar, like a river that never stops. The brushed stainless steel boards on both sides of the ceiling resemble the deck of a ship that protects the "nine fishes" on their journey. Besides elegance and tranquility, the negotiation area also reveals an atmosphere of Wabi-sabi. Sitting on the expansive, comfortable light-hued sofa, visitors can embrace an open view of the outdoor landscape park. The "fishes" swim flexibly, splashing the water. The art installation under the "deck" is inspired by the surging water waves in the Yangtze River, symbolizing the bold passion and the pioneering spirit. The glittering art installation reveals a scene of sparkling water waves, showing a wonderful journey of moving forward.

The design of this sales center focuses on the permanent use of architecture, landscape and indoor space, which were conceived synchronously. Landscape planning and site advantages were combined to create a unique first impression for the sales center. Set beside the river, the building is like an art museum filled with fluidity and vitality.
