The project located in a prime location and serve as a gateway for a key urban regeneration project in a well know jewelry wholesale district Shui Bei in Shen Zhen , China. The project can be seen from most part of the Shenzhen and enjoys a magnificent view to the city as well. The project enjoys an easy access to Metro station and Hong Hu Park. The district neighborhood has a very high urban density which consist of new and old buildings in close proximity where urban access and open spaces relationships need to be considered thoroughly.

Dsign originates from the “bamboo” of the totem of Chinese traditional culture, which means its noble character. In the podium, the virtue of taking bamboo from the atrium is “hollow and rich in learning”. The tower volume is gradually increased layer by layer, and the shape is like the vigorous form of bamboo growing.

At the same time, the “one” shape of the podium, the “two-piece” shape of the tower, and the “three” level bamboo section of the tower symbolize the “One begets Two, two begets three, Three begets all things” of Taoism. The so-called “one” as the foundation, that is, the podium, born in the north and south poles, that is, the two-piece shape of the tower, and then the vertical differentiation, forming the heaven, earth and man, that is, the three-stage structure of the tower.

Podium landscaped staircase connects each podium levels and finishing in an exhibition space for cultural events, that blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior. Multiple sky gardens spread along the podium and tower, creating habitable spaces and multifunction and exhibition areas.

All the concepts of traditional Chinese Taoism and architectural qualities coming together in this project. The project is very unique in functions, aesthetic and economical senses. Located in a prime location and serve as a gateway for a key urban regeneration project， the unique image of this case creates a significant landmark image from a multi-dimensional perspective of the city and will become a representative building in the region.
