The project situates in Hong Kong's Southern District, near to the yacht club, and has a wonderful and vast sea view. The client is a newlywed couple who sought an elegant yet basic design. The designer utilized the marble and hardwood floor as the foundation for the living room and kitchen, it clearly demarcates two spaces without any partition wall, offering a warm and sophisticated atmosphere. The original living room has been converted into a study room with a smart glass wall, giving the family an extra working place where sunshine may penetrate. This creates a sense of openness without compromising the living room's visual space. The simplicity of earthy tones is emphasized in the master bedroom. The green velvet headboard is twisted to produce a wavy line that mirrors the bench. In case the open wardrobe becomes too cluttered in the future, there is a sliding door. The walnut finish and batten trim the ceiling, walls, and cabinets, allowing the client to relax and immerse themself in the wood visual environment. The size of the master bathroom has been expanded,. The designer used smart glass ornamented with a steel frame instead of a partition wall to increase space while retaining some privacy. In this manner, the owner may bathe in this breathtaking scenery whenever they want. As a finishing touch, the designer chose white marble on the walls and flooring with a few green marble accents for a luxurious yet modern feel.
