About The Entry

Missing 10 Hours is an educational VR piece that raises awareness on GHB and other rape drugs alike. Based on a true story, "Missing 10 Hours" reconstructs the night Girl K was drugged with rape drug GHB and it invites two players to experience the night together. One participant is inside the VR, experiencing K’s night with no control over the story; the other participant controls how the night unfolds from the outside via a phone interface, making all the choices in a multiple-ending story. Utilizing the immersive nature of the medium, this VR project reconstructs the power dynamic between a victim and a potential offender, allowing players to gain a better understanding of the GHB issue and how is to be vulnerable in a situation like K’s.
