Bamboo House

Inspired by the name of the restaurant, "Bamboo House", the design team used bamboo as the theme of the commercial space, presenting an Oriental style through the arrangement, interlacing, and facets of bamboo. In this project, bamboo can be a ceiling ornament, a partition, or a landscape in a Chinese painting. Meanwhile, the design team used dark colors as the main tone of the space with lighting, bamboo, light and shadow, solid and void to show the Oriental design.

The natural beauty of the bamboo is unadorned, and the overlapping shadows behind the window are a delightful moment for friends and drink. The full moon is visible on a clear night, and the impression of a full moon greets guests at the counter and in the premium VIP room.

The hand-tied bamboos are used as partitions to divide the space, and the beauty of the design is hidden, recreating the scene of a beauty half covered in an ancient Chinese poem. Wooden windows and Chinese paintings bring people a sense of oriental culture. Although there is no wind at the site, the atmosphere created by bamboo can be felt through the interplay of light and shadow, bamboo, and window.

The design team used the characteristics of bamboo to create this project "Bamboo House". At the same time, the full moon is highlighted in this project, and the details are embellished with stone and wood to create a dialogue between the beauty of bamboo and the Oriental style.
