Nestled on a vase-shaped land parcel, this project integrates local cultural connotations with natural landscape philosophy under the theme “Dwelling by the Lake, Blending with Mountains and Rivers.” Spanning about 130,000 square meters, it forms an immersive resort-style green islet, creating a top-tier luxury residence that harmonizes aesthetics, functionality, and intelligence.
Guided by the vision of “Cultivating a living entity that originates from nature yet transcends it,” the design abandons symbolic imitation and instead extracts natural elements—flowing water, moonlight, and local culture—translating them into a modern design language through concise, refined techniques. The spatial design highlights contrasts between openness and enclosure, and choreographs sightlines through winding paths, interwoven water features, and naturalistic vegetation, creating a three-dimensional scenic journey where views change with every step.
The project’s innovation lies in its masterful response to irregular topography and elevation differences. Designers transformed constraints into opportunities: the “elevated swimming pool” concept ensures clubhouse privacy while serving as a visual centerpiece, and cascading water features leverage height variations to enrich the landscape. A 580-meter ceremonial axis and a 370-meter experiential axis organize diverse scenarios into a cohesive whole, while custom lighting and paving patterns enhance spatial rhythm and orientation.
Functionally, the design balances leisure and daily living. With 90,000 square meters of gardens and a 40,000-square-meter lakeside camping park, residents can enjoy lake views and engage in outdoor activities such as jogging, camping, and fishing. The sunken clubhouse, viewing terraces, and neighborhood spaces are carefully arranged to ensure both ceremonial dignity and practical convenience.
Sustainability is deeply embedded: cascading water features and sunken greens form a sponge system for rainwater collection and purification; native plants enhance ecological resilience; and local, durable materials reduce maintenance and transport costs. Through its integration of nature, culture, and modern living, the project establishes a replicable model for sustainable, high-quality urban community design.
